Effective immediately all residents from the Rural Municipality of Pembina can obtain free membership services. The RM of Pembina is now a supporting municipality.Events:
• A book sale and Rainbow Raffle is being held at the Honey, Garlic and Maple Syrup Festival inManitou on September 12 2009.
• The Summer Reading Program runs from June 27 2009 - August 15 2009.• Story Hour takes place during the month of July on Thursdays from 2:30 - 3:30, starting July
July 9 2009.
Internet Usage:
Internet Access is free to both members and non-members. The library has three computers available for Internet Access. Manitoba Law requires a parental authorization for Internet use by anyone under the age of 18. Internet time is limited to 1 hour at a time and can be booked in advance by calling the libraryPrinting:
Printing and photocopying services are available in black and white or color.Costs are: Black and white - .15c, color .70c.
Projector Rental:
A projector rental is available for all library patrons who are over the age of 18. An Indemnity Agreement must be completed. A refundable $100.00 deposit is required, plus a rental fee of $20.00 for a one week period.
Memberships:
A library card is free to any resident of the Town of Manitou and the Rural Municipality of Pembina. Non-residents can join the library by purchasing a membership for 25.00 a year per family. Children under the age of 14 years must have a parent or guardian sign their membership card.Office Hours:
